While Fantiastico does make installation easier, fantastico is quite often one or two versions behind the current stable one. Simple Scripts which my host, www.hostmonster, offers in addition to fantastico is great. Simple scripts will have the current version of wordpress, usually within days of the official release. It now also offers a fantastico conversion that works like a charm.

Robin
I am a lifelong Dreamweaver user (which is a far better tool than XSite Pro), and I am convinced enough to leave Dreamweaver behind. Wordpress IMO is the way forward.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for an interesting in sight for using Wordpress to create affiliate sites. Now given the choice, would you still use Wordpress compared to say Xsitepro? I have the latter but not yet used it. Be grateful for your thoughts.

Thanks
Robin.

Aya
Wordpress is a great tool for affiliate websites, but it does take a lot of tweaking to get it setup. If you are a complete newbie, I would recommend a different editor, or at least learn how to use Wordpress for Affiliate sites.

Hello: I was about to purchase SEO Builder and found this site. For someone who is starting out to build a site for affiliate marketing or PLR content, which one would you recommend? And thank you very much for all the valuable information.
