The Money Tree Review

September 19, 2008 by Andy

30K in 30 days or your money back?  Actually the guarantee is better than that!

In September last year, Michael Green released one a product that promised to make you $20k in 20 days.  It was called the 20/20 challenge, and I think it was an outstanding product.  Michael’s guarantee was simple.  Make $20k in 20 days or get your money back.  It was one of those products that really was a no-brainer.  You just didn’t have to think about it.

So, how many people made $20k in 20 days?  To be honest, I doubt that most people who bought it made any money at all.  That’s not a criticism of the course, but the nature of people.  Probably 99% of people who bought it did not complete the course.  Perhaps even 10 – 20% of people who bought it never even read the course from start to finish.

Internet Marketing is all about working for yourself, and that is something a lot of people seem incapable of doing.  Most people are intrinsically lazy, and given the choice of working or sitting in front of the TV, or sleeping ;O) I think for many people THAT CHOICE is a no-brainer.

One of my all-time favourite lines in a movie was frmo Stan Laurel.  He said "You know Olli, you can lead a horse to water, but a pencil must be lead"..   OK, I think you know where I am going with this.

So why am I mentioning the 120/20 challenge?  Well, Michael has come out with a new product.  In fact, its not actually ready to buy, but you can lock in at a lower price by pre-ordering.

So why should you be interested in this offer?

Well, for starters, Michael is offering to show you how to make $30k in 30 days.  It’s kind of the big brother of the 20/20 challenge.  After having reviewed the early drafts of the product, This "30/30 challenge" is kind of an evolution from 20/20.

The guarantee has evolved too. Michael calls it his 200% money back guarantee.  Not only will he give you your money back, but he’ll also let you keep every one of the 101 Products that come bundled with the product.

So what is this product all about.  Let me explain it to you.

The product is called The Money Tree.  It comes bundled with 101 products which are high quality digital downloadable programs, scripts, tools and ebooks some of which are worth more than the current low retail price for the entire Money Tree Challenge system.

One of the differences between this product and the 20/20 challenge is that the Money Tree manual covers newer techniques than were being employed when the 20/20 challenge was released, eg. Web 2.0 and in particular marketing through social networking.

Michael has also listened to feedback from the 20/20 users and included better sections on how to more effectively build up an email list and find Joint Venture Partners without doing all the hard work yourself.

The course is written with all levels of experience in mind, form beginners to advanced marketers, although newbies may require a little more time on each section than seasoned marketers.  In order to take part in the Money Tree Challenge you do not need to own a website, domain name or anything else up front. You will however have created at least one by the time you’ve completed your Challenge.

Michael usually sets up a series of bonuses for those who pre-order his products so check out his sales page for full details:

Good information, wish I had found it before I spent $6000 on website and advertising with someone else!

Andy, I find these newsletters thought-provoking.

I read through all of the claims for great and unending riches in the Money Tree. Making that sort of money is a wondrous dream and examples were repeated constantly throughout the ads. Only one thing was missing…aside from paying for the package, what is it that one does to make this money? Nowhere was that indicated. Is it an opportunity to join that vast throng of people yelling and selling exactly the same affiliate offers?

It doesn’t take very long before an online shopper sees the same ad with a different face or name attached to it and realizes that they are not dealing with people who have anything actually invested in the offer. If you can get them to bite before they see the same affiliate ad posted elsewhere, you might have a chance but the reality is that all of this IDENTICAL competition dilutes it.

Are any of these…well, let’s be honest and call them what they claim to be, get rich schemes (30 grand in 30 days is getting rich at a quick rate)…applicable to one’s own set of products (real products with weight and heft, not downloadable text files)? Here in the States we are experiencing economic problems because so many people were selling airy services, not solid products. I’d like to avoid that mistake and sell our own product line.

Have you got something besides downloadable affiliate programs and directions to other urls?

    Thanks in advance

  3. Robs, the whole point of Michael Green’s book is to get you to either make your own product or, more realistically for many people, adapt a PLR product to make your own product. Then he shows you how to set up a good site and make JVs with other marketers with lists. Michael Green has an excellent record of writing his own and adapting other people’s work and being able to add value to it so that he can sell it at a high enough amount to attract good JV partners. He’s also done it in areas away from Internet marketing such as Golf and Happiness.
