31 Days To Build a Better Blog

May 31, 2009

When someone recommended 31 Days to Build A Better Blog to me this week, I bought it, and am really glad I did.  This book is refreshing in its approach. It’s packed with great stuff I have not seen anywhere else, and will no doubt do what it says on the cover.

This eBook is contains 31 tasks.  Each day you carry out one of the tasks.

It’s all about creating a dynamic, stimulating blog – one where people interact and want to come back to read more, as well as develop your standing in that niche community.

Does that sound like your blog?

Not only does the book tell you how to create just that, it actually gets you to do the steps involved over 31 days (or however long you want).

Who is this book for?

Well, in my opinion it is for EVERYONE who owns a blog site.

This book is just so important to all bloggers who want to make an impact on the Internet.

If you have started a blog but don’t know what to do next, this book will keep you busy for at least the next 31 days creating a blog that will make you look like you have been blogging for years.  You will also be able to develop an action plan for the next 31 days, or more.

This book is also for those who have a blog but have lost motivation, or cannot think where to go next with it.  Again, this book will keep you busy for the next 31 days.

When I read the sales letter of this book, I wondered about the tasks.  Would they be 31 variations on "Write a post on XYZ", etc.  I needn’t have worried.  The tasks are just brilliant, well thought out, and obviously the brainchild of a educational master.  This has to be one of my top picks for 2009 so far, and its only 19.95.

By the end of the 31 days, you will have written in a variety of different types and styles, seen how easy it is to come up with new ideas for posts, promoted your blog in a number of ways, built relationships with readers, developed working relationships with other bloggers, and so much more.

The book runs to over 90 pages, and you’ll definitely want to print it out and get it bound.

One of the biggest bonuses of this “course”, is the forum.  Its packed with other bloggers all looking to exchange ideas, and there is a section on each of the 31 tasks.  Need help with a particular task?  Go to that task in the forum.  One of the problems I had with this blog was that I was taken off in all sorts of directions, and didn’t notice an hour had slipped by.  I can’t say there are many forums with that kind of interesting material to read.
